On September 20, 2023, three members of the K-pop group Stray Kids, Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin, were Injured in a car accident. The vehicle they were in was involved in a minor collision with another random vehicle. after the accident, the idols got mild muscle pain and bruises.
According to JYP Entertainment, all three members were immediately taken to the hospital for a checkup. None of the members sustained any serious injuries, but they were advised to rest for a few days due to mild muscle pains.
The car accident occurred at around 11:30 PM KST on September 20th. Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin were returning to their dorms in Seoul after a schedule when the vehicle they were in was involved in a minor collision with another vehicle.
According to JYP Entertainment, the collision was caused by the other vehicle making a sudden lane change. The Stray Kids members' vehicle was hit on the side, but the impact was not severe.
As a result of this accident, Lee Know and Hyunjin’s planned Milan Fashion Week attendance and Seungmin’s planned birthday livestream on Friday are canceled, with only Bangchan, Changbin, and Han attending the Global Citizen Festival in New York on September 24th. JYP Entertainment apologized for any inconvenience this may cause all fans and promised to keep fans updated on the members' recovery.
What's Next for Stray Kids is unclear when Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin will be able to resume their activities with Stray Kids. JYP Entertainment has stated that the members will be resting until they have made a full recovery. As well as Stray Kids announced earlier this month that they will hold a two-day concert at the Gocheok Sky Dome in October.
