Hybe has unequivocally rejected rumors regarding two BTS members visiting the same place where G-Dragon and Lee Sun Kyun are alleged to have been involved with drugs.
Earlier this week, BIGHIT MUSIC quickly shut down speculations about BTS that started circulating online in the wake of G-Dragon's drug-related investigation. The agency also made it clear that they would be pursuing legal action against any false rumors about the group.
However, following this initial denial, a YouTube channel called Garo Sero Institute posted a new video claiming that two BTS members frequented a hostess bar connected to G-Dragon and Lee Sun Gyun's alleged involvement in drug-related activities.
On October 28, HYBE, the parent company of BIGHIT MUSIC, issued another statement categorically denying any link between BTS members and the said establishment.
"The rumors circulating about our artist and a specific location are completely baseless," HYBE stated. "The BTS members are not familiar with that place, and they have never been there."
"We are committed to combating the spread of false information and any attacks on our artist's reputation, and we are pursuing both civil and criminal legal action," they continued. "We have already initiated legal proceedings against groundless falsehoods concerning our artist."
BTS Armies have made a solemn promise to stand by the members through thick and thin, and that commitment remains unwavering. It's a constant, just like the way some individuals attempt to exploit the world's best boyband for their own gain. This exploitation needs to come to a halt, and the agency must take swift legal action.
