Actor Yoo Ah In Faces First Trial on Drug Charges: Updates on Indictment and Legal Proceedings

Actor Yoo Ah In, indicted without detention for drug administration charges, faces his first trial on December 12. The trial will be held in the morning at the Criminal Agreement Department 25-1 of the Seoul Central District Court, with Chief Judge Park Jung Gil, Judge Park Jung Je, and Judge Ji Gwi Yeon presiding.

The accused, Yoo Ah In, has to go to court for a formal trial on a specific date, marking his first appearance since the indictment. Initially, the court planned the first hearing for November 14, but Yoo Ah In's lawyer asked to change the date, and it got postponed once. Yoo Ah In requested the change due to a tight preparation period.

Also, as mentioned earlier, four more lawyers were appointed, and a request for a trial preparation date was submitted along with the lawyer's appointment.

Earlier, on October 19, the prosecution charged Yoo Ah In with habitual propofol use, unlawfully obtaining prescription sleeping pills under another person's name, smoking and distributing marijuana, and tampering with evidence.
