On December 8, producer Na Yeong Seok planned a special celebration with actor Park Seo Joon to surprise BTS's Kim Taehyung (V).
Producer Na decided to prepare a surprise birthday meal for Taehyung since he wouldn't be able to celebrate his birthday on December 30 due to his enlistment on December 11.
As planned by Producer Na, he invited actor Park Seo Joon to prepare a meal for Taehyung, knowing Seo Joon's culinary skills showcased on the show called "Jinny's Kitchen."
Seo Joon is one of Taehyung's close friends, and they have been seen together as best friends and brothers on several occasions. With the help of Seo Joon, Producer Na was able to make a successful birthday party for Taehyung. They prepared special meals, including the traditional birthday dish (Seaweed Soup), savory braised beef, Japchae, Jeon (Korean pancake), and a homemade cake.
After preparing the meal, both Seo Joon and Producer Na packed all the meals and went to see Taehyung where he was filming. Once there, they arranged a table and put all the prepared meals on it. After a few minutes, Taehyung entered the room, and it was filled with laughter, happiness, and various emotions. Taehyung was shocked after seeing what Seo Joon and Producer Na had prepared, and he was genuinely grateful to have them.
Moreover, while Taehyung started eating, both Seo Joon and Producer Na engaged in a conversation about their friendship. During that time, Park Seo Joon mentioned that he lived in Taehyung's house for almost two months due to his own house undergoing renovations. He stated, "The house I'm living in now, I had to do a renovation for four months. I actually planned the reno so it could be finished while I was overseas filming. But the filming ended early. So when I came back, I had nowhere to go.”
"But Taehyung (V) lives five minutes away from my house. So I reached out to him and asked 'Taehyung, can I stay with you for a bit?' On top of that, Taehyung had an extra room at his house. So I told him 'I think that room is mine. Can I stay there?' And Taehyung said yes right away.”
Seo Joon also mentioned how he became close to Taehyung's parents while Taehyung wasn't at home. "I wasn't there all the time because I had other things to film. And there would be times when only his parents would be home. So, they would welcome me, saying 'Oh, you're home,' and I would eat with them. I would ask, 'Where is Taehyung?’"
In response to a question from Producer Na about whether Taehyung's parents knew Park Seo Joon, Taehyung replied, "Yes, they met him a few times. Also, his parents are close with my parents. We introduced them to one another.”
The friendship they maintain is healthy and trustworthy. At one point during a live broadcast, Taehyung called someone "hyung," asking him if he would like to join the live. During that time, fans speculated that it might be Jungkook. However, after watching a video uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Channel Fullmoon,’ it was proven that Seo Joon lived together with Taehyung during that time.
