"On December 6, the internet went viral with the news that JTBC confirmed BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie had officially broken up. 

The news went public after Taehyung announced his military enlistment, and YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK members had renewed their contracts.


So, is this another media ploy to attract attention, or is it true? Still, neither BIGHIT Entertainment nor YG Entertainment has officially confirmed their relationship or the breakup. Some fans speculate that this is another media scam using the most famous idols in the entertainment industry.


However, last year, there was much proof that the two idols were secretly dating. The two visited Jeju Island together, and the photos were leaked. Jennie and Taehyung's friends, who are in Wooga Squad, were invited to Jennie’s second single “You & Me” private listening party. Also, the video where they were spotted together hand in hand in Paris went viral, unofficially confirming their relationship. From time to time, there has been ongoing gossip and rumors about their dating, but it was never officially confirmed. Just like this, the breakup news could also be a media-made story to gain attention.


So it's better to wait patiently until the two idols or their agencies confirm whether they are in a relationship or not. However, they do not need to publicize their personal lives. We are just fans of their music, dancing, visuals, and their roles as idols, nothing else. So as fans, make sure to distance yourself from the artists' private lives.
