Breaking Records: Blackpink Jennie Dominates Billboard Hot 100 with 'One of the Girls'

Blackpink Jennie is on her way to making new musical records. On the 14th Billboard revealed ‘One of the Girls’ song hit Billboard Hot 100! This song is from the HBO Series ‘The Idol’ where Jennie and Weekend collaborated. This song and the series still going strong 20 weeks later at number 97 on the charts.

This is significant because Jennie became the first Korean female soloist to have a song stay on the Hot 100 for 20 weeks in a row, making history. She is only the second Korean soloist to accomplish this feat—the first being PSY.

Remember PSY's megahit "Gangnam Style" from 2012, which had everyone doing the horse dance? Yeah, that song topped the charts for 31 weeks. Jennie is now following in their footsteps, which is really great.

Jennie's success extends beyond the Hot 100. "One of the Girls" remains at No. 29 on Billboard's Global Excl. U.S. chart for the 31st week, and No. 43 on the Global 200 for the 29th week.

So, let's give Jennie a round of applause for making history with her incredible track!
