Exciting Premiere for RM’s New Documentary

BTS’s RM is making waves with the world premiere of his documentary film, “RM: Right People, Wrong Place,” at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). This documentary, which delves into the making of RM’s second solo album released in May, has been selected for the Open Cinema section of the 29th BIFF. This section highlights films that are artistically significant and have gained international acclaim.

The movie will be screened at the outdoor theatre of the Busan Cinema Centre, which is a first for K-pop documentaries to be included in this prestigious  category. Fans can look forward to a grand outdoor screening event.

"RM: Right People, Wrong Place" provides an in-depth look of the eight-month recording process for RM's solo album. It includes close-up interviews with RM that delve into his experiences as a solo artist, BTS leader, and person. In quest of one's actual self and place in the world, the boundaries between "right" and "wrong" can become unclear, as the title illustrates through an adventure of self-discovery.

The documentary is directed by Lee Seok Jun, who also directed BTS’s j-hope‘s solo album including tracks like “Arson” and “MORE.” The film features stunning visuals with an art-film aesthetic that adds depth to RM’s story.

BIGHIT MUSIC, RM’s agency, expressed their honor and excitement for the premiere at BIFF. They hope that RM’s message through his second solo album will resonate with viewers, offering moments of reflection and inspiration.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see RM’s journey unfold on the big screen!
